 The Young New Yorkers' Chorus was founded in order
to encourage the art of choral singing among New York's
young adult community. We perform a mixture of
choral greats from Renaissance to contemporary times. We rehearse in the West 50s on Tuesday evenings.
The Young New Yorkers' Chorus announces auditions for its 8th season. Auditions will consist of sight-singing, vocal exercises, and any prepared piece you wish to bring. Auditions will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th St.) on Wednesday, August 27th; Tuesday, September 2nd; and Thursday, September 4th. Other audition times are also available by appointment.
